The Rapides Parish Police Jury has announced that several committee meetings will be held Monday, June 1, beginning at 3 p.m. in the meeting room of the Police Jury Office.

Committees scheduled to meet include the Finance Committee; Public Works, Watershed and Agricultural Affairs Committee; Workforce Development and Grants Committee; and the Tourism and Economic Planning and Development Committee.

Officials said the agenda for the committee meetings will be posted at 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 28, on the meeting room door.

The Police Jury also announced that its regular meeting will be held Monday, June 8, at 3 p.m. at the Rapides Parish Courthouse in Alexandria. The agenda for that meeting is scheduled to be posted at 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 4.

Both the committee meetings and the regular meeting will be streamed live online.
