The City of Pineville, Louisiana announced it will officially host the 2026 Pineville Honor Field, continuing the tradition previously known as the Field of Honor.

The display will take place along the Pineville Riverfront from June 5 through June 13 and will feature rows of American flags honoring veterans, first responders, healthcare workers, and other community heroes.

City officials said residents can sponsor a flag for $41 in honor of a living or deceased individual who has made an impact on their lives. Following the closing ceremony on June 13, participants will be able to take their flags home.

Officials said the event is intended to bring the community together in recognition and appreciation of local heroes while transforming the riverfront into a patriotic tribute.
