
The Alexandria Police Department reported four arrests April 23 in connection with an ongoing weapons violation investigation.
According to authorities, officers made the arrests at approximately 2 p.m. and seized three illegal firearms during the course of the investigation.
Arrested were Dolmoine Gold, 24, charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and accessory after the fact; Zactavious Mullins, 23, charged with illegal use of a weapon; Titto Thompson, 18, charged with illegal use of a weapon; and Derrick Charles, 21, also charged with illegal use of a weapon.
Police Chief Chad Gremillion said officers’ presence in neighborhoods is often part of proactive efforts to prevent crime, adding that partnerships with Louisiana State Police and Probation and Parole help strengthen enforcement efforts.
The investigation remains ongoing, and additional arrests may be possible.
