The Rapides Parish Police Jury has announced upcoming meeting dates for May, including both its committee sessions and regular monthly meeting.

Committee meetings are scheduled for Monday, May 4, 2026, beginning at 3 p.m. at the Police Jury Meeting Room. The committees will meet in the following order: Finance; Public Works, Watershed and Agricultural Affairs; Workforce Development and Grants; Tourism and Economic Planning and Development; Courthouse, Coliseum and Facilities; Parochial Board Liaison and Municipal Liaison; Personnel, Elections, Insurance and Legal; and Ambulance, Fire, Health and Homeland Security.

The Police Jury will then hold its regular meeting on Monday, May 11, 2026, at the same location.

Agendas for the meetings will be posted in advance on the Meeting Room door ahead of each scheduled session.

Both the committee meeting and the regular meeting will be streamed live through the Police Jury’s official website and YouTube channel, allowing residents to follow along remotely.

Officials encourage the public to attend or view the meetings as parish leaders address ongoing business and community matters.
