Remembering Jiovani Emile Nolan

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jiovani Emile Nolan, who left us too soon on March 17, 2026, in Alexandria, at the tender age of 17. Born on October 29, 2008, Jiovani was a remarkable young man who brought laughter and light into the lives of everyone who knew him.

Jiovani was known for his sharp wit and quirky sense of humor, always ready with a clever remark. He had an undeniable charm that complemented his striking good looks. A true car enthusiast, he loved attending car shows and talking about his latest automotive discoveries. To his family, he was not just a son but a devoted “Mama’s boy” and “Dad’s shadow,” and he cherished every moment spent with his little sister, Jiana, who was his partner-in-crime. His bond with family extended to his adored grandma, fondly known as “Meemee,” who played a special role in his life.

Jiovani’s intellect shone brightly as a member of the National Honor Society and Beta Club. He was on track to graduate a year early, proudly poised to earn an Associate’s Degree in Science at the college level. His future was as promising as it was bright, and the impact he made in his short time here will never be forgotten.

He is survived by his loving parents, Stacey Bridges Nolan and John Russell Nolan, III; his sister, Jiana Camille Nolan; his brother, Joshua Nolan, and sister, Sydney Niette (Jerrod); and his cherished grandparents, Judy Miller, and Doug Bridges (Cindy), Grace McDonald (Eddie), and John Nolan, II (Marcia). Each of them will hold onto the wonderful memories they created with Jiovani, keeping his spirit alive in their hearts.

A celebration of Jiovani’s life will be held privately with close family.
