
Bro. Charles Brown Jr. was born on July 22, 1959. He was the eldest son of the late Charles Brown Sr. and Mary Ann Brown, and was lovingly reared by Beverly West Brown.
He attended Peabody Magnet High School, where he played basketball. He later enlisted in the United States Army and was stationed in Fort Stewart, Georgia, where he served as a Motor Transport Operator from March 14, 1979, to December 9, 1982.
Bro. Brown was also known as “Brown,” “Charlie B,” and “Buss Em Up.” He was baptized and accepted Christ at an early age. He later joined St. Mark Chapel, where he remained a faithful and dedicated member until his passing.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother, sister, and other close family members.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Paula Celestine-Brown; three daughters, Crystal Lemeul, Lakeisha Celestine, and Tiffany Snow (Jason); nine grandchildren; his mother, Beverly West Brown; three brothers; two sisters; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
