Rapides Parish Patrol Deputies responded to a reported theft on Feb. 20 on the 90 block of Stones Way in Pineville. Deputies took initial reports and secured statements from the victims.

Following the initial response, detectives from the Tioga Substation were assigned to the case. Their investigation identified Mary Dianne Jackson, 42 of Atlanta, LA, as a suspect. Detectives gathered sufficient probable cause to obtain an arrest warrant for Jackson on a charge of Cruelty to the Infirmed.

Detectives made contact with Jackson at the Tioga Substation on March 3. She was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center. Bond has been set at $5,000. Jackson remains in custody at the time of this release.
