The Tioga High School JAG students announced the official opening of their community pantry, situated across the street from Tioga High School at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, last week.
This pantry embodies the spirit of community support, with the guiding principle of “Take what you need, leave what you can.” The JAG students’ objective is to provide essential food items to individuals in need within the immediate community, with the pantry being accessible 24/7.
The JAG students expressed gratitude to the church for their unwavering support in making this project a reality, as well as to the THS Ag department for their invaluable assistance in constructing the pantry. For those interested in making a donation or contributing to this project, contact the THS JAG students or Ms. Tara at the church. This support in sharing this initiative with the community is greatly appreciated.
