On Thursday, Sept. 18, Mayor Ronny Green, Jr. of Cheneyville, along with the Junior League of Alexandria and the Cheneyville Street Krewe, participated in “Find the Good Day. Mayor Green released the following statement.
This morning we joined the Junior League of Alexandria for “Find the Good Day”; a national movement that inspires communities to spread kindness and do good.
Over the last few months the Cheneyville Street Krewe has stepped up tremendously and increased theirs efforts towards returning our town to cleanest city standards. Although we still have a long road ahead of us I am proud of the work these gentlemen have done thus far and I appreciate their dedication to our community.
NOW, THEREFORE, I Ronny M Green Jr, Mayor of the Town of Cheneyville, do hereby proclaim September 18th, 2025, as “Find the Good Day” in the Town of Cheneyville, in partnership with the Junior League of Alexandria. I urge all residents to join us on this day to engage in acts of goodness, kindness, and compassion towards one another, in alignment with the Junior League’s mission to build a better community and empower women leaders. Together, let us ignite a chain of positivity that echoes far beyond this special day, and we are excited to celebrate this day each year and watch it grow, making our town a better place for all.
