The vehicle was occupied by a subject appearing to be asleep at the wheel.
The Sergeant initiated contact with the occupant, identified as Clyde Edward Krider, 65 of Glenmora. After identification was made a warrant check was conducted, Krider was found to have an active warrant through the Louisiana Department Probation and Parole-Leesville Field Office for a parole violation.
Krider was placed under arrest for the active warrant and transported to the Rapides Parish Detention Center and booked. It was also discovered Krider was a Level 2 registered sex offender.
Krider remains in jail at the time of this release and no bond has been set.
