Beginning effective yesterday, the Alexandria Fire Department will be flushing hydrants in the general area behind N. MacArthur Drive, from Heyman Lane to Welwyn Way to Jackson Street.
During flushing, residents may notice temporary water discoloration or reduced pressure.
