An unknown male subject forcibly entered a residence in the 100 block of Hilton Court at approximately 3:30am on June 20. The suspect was armed and demanded money before intentionally setting the home on fire. The residents were transported to the hospital for treatment.

 

The Pineville Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Bureau is actively investigating this incident and working in close coordination with the Louisiana State Fire Marshal Arson Investigators.

 

PPD is urging residents in the area of Fox Street, Hembling Street, and Hilton Court to review any surveillance footage they may have from around the time of the incident. If anyone has video or information that could assist in the investigation, contact the Pineville Police Department immediately.

 

This is an active investigation, and no further information will be released at this time.
