The Alexandria Fire Department has acquired a new firetruck, characterized as the departments newest and loudest engine. Now stationed at Fire Station 3, Engine 30 is equipped with a brand-new Night Scan. It is also the AFD’s only truck with hard suction hoses for drafting water from nearby ponds or lakes.
AFD considers Engine 30 an excellent addition to their fleet. The department expressed gratitude to the City of Alexandria for its support to purchase this new firetruck.
