Over the past several years, law enforcement agencies across the country have faced challenges in filling vacancies, whether due to retirements or officers leaving the profession altogether. Like many and for several years, the Pineville Police Department saw fewer applicants willing to step into this calling.
Over the past 16 months, the PPD has made changes that have proven to be successful. The department is now staffed at 98% capacity.
One thing has become clear through this process – that people want to work where they feel supported by the following:
