A Dry Prong man has passed away after a crash that happened on Hooper Road, north of LA Highway 3325, in Rapides Parish on Saturday, June 7.

According to Louisiana State Police, Jeffery Foster, 62, was traveling north on Hooper Road just after 3pm. For reasons unknown, he lost control of his vehicle, driving off the road and crashing into multiple trees.

Foster was severely injured in the crash and was taken to a hospital. Unfortunately, he later passed away.

The crash is currently under investigation by LSP Troop E.
