Peabody Montessori just unveiled its own Heart of Louisiana sculpture, created in partnership with Diamond Grill and Explore Alexandria Pineville.
Students designed the heart to celebrate the places and symbols that make Central Louisiana special, like the Alexandria Zoo and Hotel Bentley. Iconic Louisiana images such as Rodrigue’s Blue Dog, fleur-de-lis, magnolias, musical instruments, and crawfish complete this vibrant piece.
Explore Alexandria Pineville’s “Heart of Louisiana” initiative is placing hand-painted heart sculptures throughout the region to inspire unity, support local artists, and beautify shared spaces.
