Homicide investigation launched after body was found at 16th Street and Stracener Street

The Alexandria Police Department responded to 16th Street and Stracener Street in reference to a body being found on Saturday, May 10, at approximately 2:35pm. The body has been identified as 35-year-old Loletha Bell, whose death had been ruled a homicide.

This is currently an ongoing investigation.
