Cotile Lake’s annual Spring Fest to be held this Saturday

The Cotile Events Association is bringing back its annual Spring Fest on Saturday, April 19, with a day of family-friendly entertainment from 9am to 4pm at Cotile Lake in Boyce.

The event posts over 80 local vendors, 10 food trucks, and plenty of activities and attractions including face painting, a foam machine, a mechanical bull, and music by DJ Solomon.

From 12pm to 1pm, the Easter Bunny will make a special appearance. Families can get free photographs with the Bunny then dive into the Easter Egg Hunt for fun prizes.

“It’s going to be a beautiful day,” Ashley Guillot from the Cotile Events Association said. “We’re really trying to bring more events back to this community. We had a great turnout at Fall Fest last year, everyone loved it, so we’re starting to host events twice a year now, in the spring and fall. A lot of local events aren’t focused on children, but this one is really structured with families in mind. Between the Easter Bunny, the egg hunt and all the fun, it’s a safe, welcoming space to bring your kids.”

Admission is just $5 per carload.
