The Alexandria Police Department responded to the 1400 block of MacArthur Drive in reference to an armed robbery on Saturday, April 5, at approximately 3:30pm. There were no injuries reported.  The suspect is described as an older black male armed with a handgun.  The assailant fled in a dark-colored Ram pickup truck.

This is currently an ongoing investigation.
