Pineville has a new leader in law enforcement. Last night, Mayor Joe Bishop and the Pineville City Council appointed Roy Fore as the new Police Chief. A Rapides Parish native, Chief Fore’s journey is a testament to his dedication to public service. He began his career as a paramedic, serving the community with compassion and skill, before joining the Pineville Police Department in 1999. Rising through the ranks, he’s led the Criminal Investigation Bureau and SWAT team, demonstrating exceptional leadership and commitment. With 25 years of marriage and a family that includes a fellow law enforcement officer, Chief Fore understands the importance of community and service.
