Students in grades 9-11 wanting to take a dual enrollment (DE) class (a class for both high school and college credit) next school year (and their parents/guardians) are highly encouraged to attend an information session on Thursday, Jan. 16 at 6pm in the PHS auditorium.
Students new to DE (and those who did not take a DE class this school year) need to meet the following requirements by the end of this school year to take DE classes next year:
3.0 or higher high school GPA
18 or higher on ACT ELA*
19 or higher on ACT Math*
*One portion of the needed ACT score may be replaced by other standardized tests, reach out to your grade level counselor if you meet all but one of the criteria.
The Director of Admissions from NSU and the PHS guidance counselor will co-present.
