Suspect’s bail bill rises

This time Jernishia Watson’s bail is a bigger bite.

Arrested November 26 for the second time this Fall and sixth in two years, she remained in lockup Sunday night with bail set at $113,000.

Watson, 29, of Alexandria is accused of narcotics possession, illegal possession of stolen things, use of CDS in presence of person under 17 and four counts of contempt.

On October 17 she posted $53,000 bond after arrest the day before on two counts of contributing to delinquency, four of theft and two of contempt.

In July she posted $25,500 after being accused of two theft counts and four contempt.

Back in 2022 Watson was booked three times:

January 28 – contributing to delinquency and theft 2 counts each, $3,500 bond; March 25 – theft 2 counts, contempt, $5,500 bond; December 24 – contempt 4 counts, $4,750 bond.
