The Pineville Police Department participated in the 2024 Students Exploring Career Opportunities (SECO) event at the Randolph Riverfront Center. This initiative provided Central Louisiana 10th graders with insights into various career paths, including law enforcement. PPD officers engaged with students, offering firsthand perspectives on policing and emphasizing the importance of community relationships. Such interactions are vital for fostering trust and understanding between law enforcement and the youth, contributing to a safer and more connected community.
