Officers from the Alexandria Police Department responded to reports of a disturbance involving weapons in the 2200 block of East Sycamore on Oct. 29, around 6:23 pm. Upon arrival, officers detained and subsequently arrested two individuals on multiple gun and drug-related charges.

The individuals arrested have been identified as Clifton Holmes, 21, and Tyron Tolliver, 28. Both Holmes and Tolliver face charges for possession of marijuana (first offense), possession of drug paraphernalia, aggravated criminal damage to property, possession of a machine gun, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

This is currently an ongoing investigation.
