RPL co-host canning class with LSU-Ag Center’s Jennifer Duhon

 
Join in on a hands-on workshop “Canning Cranberry Pepper Jelly,” on Wednesday, Oct. 30 from 10 am – 12 pm at the main branch of the Rapides Parish Library’s main branch. Participants will learn the art of preserving Cranberry Pepper Jelly, a perfect blend of sweet and spicy flavors. LSU-Ag Center Rep Jennifer Duhon will guide participants through the process, from selecting fresh ingredients to mastering safe canning techniques. Seasoned canners or beginning canners will benefit anyone looking to expand their culinary skills. Participants will leave with a jar of homemade jelly and the skills to recreate it at home.
