Services for Gleneita Long Everett will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 10, 2024, in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Reverend Decarlo Dominick officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

The family requests that visitation be held at Hixson Brothers, Pineville Monday, September 9, 2024, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Visitation will resume Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until service time.

Pallbearers will be Lloyd Fuqua, Lee Litton, Chad Lamartiniere, Gage Dauzart, Trent Wells and John Woodall.

Honorary pallbearers will be Chad Everett and Tayton Litton,

Mrs. Everett, 82, of Ball, passed this life on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Everett was the co-owner of Wholesale Distributors for over 30 years. Her legacy is that she was a compassionate soul who loved her family and teaching the word of God. Gleneita will be deeply missed by her loved ones. Her memory will live on through the lives she touched and the love she shared.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, David C. Everett; her parents, Glen and Myrtle Long; brothers, Gary Long, and Greg Long; daughter-in-law, Cora “Golly” Everett, and granddaughter, Misty Bardwell, and great-granddaughter, Persephone Hicks Serrano.

Those left to cherish her memory include sons, David G. Everett, and Todd Everett (Sherry); daughter, Shayne Thompson (Leamon); 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and numerous other family and friends.

The family would like to thank her caregiver Kemberly Kidd for all the compassion and care she gave. They would also like to send a special thank you to the staff with Compassionate Care Hospice for the wonderful care given.
