The Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office partnered with the Rapides Regional Medical Center for the CRUSH THE CRISIS drug take back program on Oct. 28 at the Medical Terrace entrance.
Citizens were able to drive through and drop off old, out of date or unused medication.
Over 50 pounds of medicine was collected and will be incinerated. Weights are recorded and the total amount are recorded with the Drug Enforcement Administration.
