Bail is set at $1.4 million for a Deville man again charged with rape and other violent crimes.

Jaron Lindo, 32, of Deville was arrested Aug 22.

He is accused of two counts of 1st degree rape.

Additionally, he faces charges of cruelty to juvenile, three counts; false imprisonment; battery 2nd degree; and aggravated strangle domestic abuse battery strangulation.

On Aug. 6 last year he was jailed on charges of 1st degree rape, sexual oral battery and domestic abuse battery. Bond was fixed at $102,500. He was in jail until Nov. 18.

In January 2022 he was accused of domestic abuse battery and posted bond the next day.

Persons charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
