High school football followers remember Kendarious Joseph as big No. 72 on the Bolton line, tackle both ways, in the late years of the last decade.

Law enforcement knows him otherwise.

Joseph, 23, was booked August 9 on an attempted 2nd degree murder charge.

Almost exactly four years earlier, on August 13, 2019, he was accused of murder 2nd degree or non-negligent manslaughter. In May he had graduated from high school.

On the 23rd, a charge of possessing a firearm with obliterated serial number was added and on the 25th a murder 2 count emerged.

Records indicate Joseph was in the parish facility until April 2021.

Those records do not reflect any actions within the court system.
