Michigan mule or just holiday traveler?

By JIM BUTLER

A routine traffic stop turned into more Sunday afternoon when Ruben Brown, 34, of Greenville, MI was pulled over.

Brown, it turned out, apparently had no driver’s license. That was the least of his problems.

He tried to flee the stop, according to records, and for good reason it turned out.

Nine traffic charges, the least of his woes,  were lodged against Brown, then came a search.

Uh oh.

That yielded the following accusations:
Possession fentanyl, carfentanil < 2 grams;
Possession, manufacture, possession with intent counterfeit CDS 2;
Possession, manufacture, distribution, dispense CDS I < 28 grams;
Possession, manufacture, distribution, possession with intent CDS IV.

And the traffic allegations?

Flight from an officer;
Speeding;
Reckless driving;
General speed law;
Obstruction highway aggravated;
No DL;
Running stop sign;
Improper lane usage;
No passing zone.

Bond is set at $66,100.
