As their investigation continued, Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Detectives assigned to the Digital Forensics/Cyber Crimes Unit were able to establish sufficient probable cause that supported further allegations Roberts had committed additional crimes. Detectives obtained additional warrants for Roberts’ arrest in reference to forty-four counts Pornography Involving Juveniles (Victim Under Age of 13) and one hundred twenty–five counts sexual abuse of an animal.
Roberts, who currently remains in jail from the arrest on Monday, was re-arrested on June 8 and re-booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center where he remains at the time of this release. Bond on the new charges have been set at an additional $84,000.
