Memorial service for Mrs. Jamie Lynn Scroggs will be held on Monday, June 12, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Newman officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Marksville.
Mrs. Scroggs, age 46, of Marksville, LA., passed away at Avoyelles Hospital in Marksville, LA on Tuesday, June 6, 2023. She is preceded in death by her father, Wilford Marvin Scroggs; nephews, Johnathon Carmouche and Trenton Wayne Scroggs; paternal grandparents, Ellington “Son” and Delia Scroggs; maternal grandparents, Ellis and Nell Bernard.
Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Connie Bernard Scroggs of Marksville; 3 daughters, Carmen Jeansonne (Peter) of Cottonport; Brittany Gomez (David) of Marksville, Lorrainna Hernandez (Andrew) of Marksville; 2 brothers, Bobby Scroggs and Ronnie Self (Theresa) of St. Francisville; 2 sisters, Debra Scroggs Carmouche and Linda Gagnard both of Marksville; 8 grandchildren, Payton Jeansonne, Klayton Jeansonne, Joshua Anderson, Zafirah Cole, Shanta Bordelon, Zachary Cole, Jr., Zain Cole, Paighten Richard; 1 great nephew, Khoen Carmouche. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, close family and friends.
