The Pineville Police Department received a report of a shooting just after midnight on May 1 on Holloway at Prairie Street. The first officers on the scene found the body of Tucker Gibson, 26 of Pineville. He was deceased from several gunshot wounds.

Pineville’s Criminal Investigation Bureau responded and through an investigation that continued through the night they arrested Rayford Brice III, 18 of Pineville.

He has been charged with second degree murder and booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center and is awaiting bond.
