The 54th Session of the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office Corrections Academy graduated on March 31.
These graduates completed 11 weeks and over 300 hours of instruction in Louisiana law, basic jail guidelines, first aid/CPR, defensive tactics, firearms, deployment of less lethal weapons , and prisoner transport.
