The Rapides Parish School Board announced that Sarah Corley of the Louisiana State University at Alexandria Children’s Center has been named a finalist for Early Childhood Leader of the Year.

Corley is part of the Rapides Early Childhood Network, where her leadership plays a key role in supporting early learning and development for young students across the parish.

School officials say the recognition highlights ongoing efforts to ensure children receive a strong educational foundation in their earliest years.

The district also recognized teacher and principal semifinalists, noting the importance of educators and leaders working together to support student success.
