Members of the Kiwanis Club of Alexandria, along with CKI members, recently volunteered their time ringing bells for the Salvation Army at Kroger in Alexandria as part of the organization’s holiday fundraising efforts.

Participants helped raise funds for the Salvation Army while spreading Christmas cheer to shoppers throughout the day. Those participating included, from left to right, Braylen Byrd, Gracymay Byrd, Mary Byrd, president of the Kiwanis Club of Alexandria, Ayla Zeibo and Jacey Kirklin. Patsy Shaw also participated but was not pictured.

Club members noted that the event was an enjoyable way to give back to the community during the holiday season while supporting the Salvation Army’s mission.
