Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office patrol deputies responded to the 5000 block of Larkspur in reference to a report from neighbors of a strange odor coming from a residence on Wednesday, Aug. 6, at approximately 2pm.
Deputies did locate a body in the residence and Sheriff’s detectives and Crime Scene Unit responded to conduct their investigation.
There is no indication of any threat to public safety and no further information is available at this time.
