RPSB celebrates seniors taking bold steps through Career and Technical Education

The Rapides Parish School Board is proud to celebrate seniors who are taking bold steps into their futures through Career and Technical Education. On Wednesday, RPSB announced scholarships industry signings for graduating Rapides seniors.
 
At Tioga High, Josiah G. and Dedrick B. were awarded Cleco’s Power of a Promise Scholarship to attend CLTCC, where they’ll train in Electrical and instrumentation technology.
 
RPSB also celebrated industry signings for Colton I., Barrett S. and Miguel A. with Plastipak.
 
At Glenmora High, Austin G. and Jayce N. signed with I.B.E.W. Local 576 for an “Earn as You Learn” Electrical Apprenticeship Program, while Jayce C. and Tyler S. committed to the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 247 Welding Apprenticeship Program.
 
RBPS congratulates these seniors for their successes.
