A deputy working off-duty security at the Central Louisiana Technical and Community College noticed what they believe to be a suspicious package on the premises on Nov. 4. RPSO Bomb Squad responded to the scene to conduct their investigation into suspicious package.
From their investigation, the package was determined not to be an explosive device and the scene was rendered safe at approximately 7:12 pm.
RPSO expressed their appreciation to the staff and administration of CLTCC for their support and assistance in this operation.
