The Fostering Community is hosting their annual sock drive, SOCKtober, to fill the Foster Care Closet with much-needed socks for boys and girls in foster care in Central Louisiana.
Help fill the sock bins with new socks for boys and girls in all sizes and styles. Whether it’s cozy, fun, or everyday socks—every pair counts and will make a meaningful impact.
How You Can Join SOCKtober:
Donate New Socks: Drop off socks or ship them from your favorite retailer directly to: The Fostering Community, 3336 Prescott Rd. Alexandria, La 71301.
Host a SOCKtober drive: Have your school, business, or organization host a sock drive! This would make a great Sunday School project or teen service project as well.
