Before tending to the normal business of the city at the Pineville City Council’s September meeting, Mayor Rich Dupree and the Council took a few minutes to give special recognition to a group in attendance.
With the recent wildfires burning in Sabine and Beauregard Parishes and at the request of the State Fire Marshal, elements of the Pineville Fire Department deployed to that area to aide their neighbors in their time of need.
Pineville Firefighters worked with many agencies including firefighters from Oklahoma to suppress the fires. Congratulations to these fine men.
