The Louisiana Sports Writers Association placed 13 players from Rapides Parish high schools on the organization’s annual All-State baseball and softball teams announced recently, with 30 more getting honorable mention recognition.

Voting was done by a panel of LSWA members covering high school sports from around the state. The LSWA provided statistical highlights for first-team selections, and also listed honorable mention choices in each class except Class C.
