The City of Alexandria kicked off its 2023 Mobile Rec Summer Tour with a free community event on June 9. CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini donated 125 basketballs to the city’s Rec2U program. The kids and Mayor Roy had a blast at the event.
The Alexandria Police Department and the Alexandria Fire Department provided demonstrations. Safe Alex employees cooked hot dogs and the Community Services and Parks & Rec teams coordinated the event and had a blast with attendees.
