Services for Charles Ray Richey will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Fellowship United Methodist Church, Elmer with Brother Jason Townley officiating. Burial will follow at Fellowship Methodist Church Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria.
Friends may call or visit Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at Fellowship United Methodist Church, Elmer.
Mr. Richey, 75, passed on Monday June 5, 2023 in Hineston, LA.
He retired from the Louisiana National Guard and Army Reserves and also from civil service after 38 years of service. and was currently a school bus driver for Rapides Parish.
Mr. Richey is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barbara Nichols Richey of Hineston; son Scottie Richey (Vanessa) of Hineston; daughter, Jennifer Richey Bowie (Michael) of Tioga; grandsons, Ryan Richey (Samantha), Dylan Richey and Austin Bowie; six siblings and numerous nephews and nieces.
Pallbearers will be Austin Bowie, Dylan Richey and Ryan Richey, Jeramy Cedars, Kevin Cedars and Chris Clark.
