Woodworth Mayor David Butler met with U.S. Senator Cassidy and U.S. Congressman Carter on April 6 in Donaldsonville. He was presented with a check for $2.1 million from the U.S. Department of Transportation Pipeline & Hazardous Materials Safety Administration. This grant money will be used to replace all of the PVC gas lines within the Town of Woodworth Natural Gas System. Mayor Butler would like to thank the Town Clerk Mary Pringle, the Town Council, Pan-American Engineers and Consultant Chellie Godeaux, along with our U.S Delegation for working to achieve this phenomenal goal.
